KK is specially designed for school children from crèche to post-secondary students; and is comprised of hygiene items for their safety and protection.
This initiative is part of the National Society’s effort at providing assistance to prevent the spread of COVID 19, and in line with its theme chosen for this year; I give with joy, and joy is my reward’, (Mon donn avek lazwa e sa lazwa i mon rekonpans). A theme calling on each and every one to extend a helping hand to the needy.
The President of the Red Cross Society of Seychelles, Kisnan Tamatave highlighted the need to assist those in need and continually provide them with the necessary support. For her part, Mrs Decommarmond thanked the National Society for its continued support and noted that RCSS staff and volunteers have been providing assistance to the Ministry in the screening and safety processes in all the schools.
To ensure that we can continually provide support to those in need, the RCSS has recently launched an appeal, calling on everyone to extend a helping hand and help the National Society fulfill its mandate.
