Wednesday 16th March 2022: Madagascar Appeal
The Red Cross Society of Seychelles, RCSS, is now in a position to accept food items, water, and other basic necessities for Madagascar, now that it has partnered with the Seychelles Defence Forces.
Previously the RCSS was only accepting financial contributions due to the high cost associated with sending the items to Madagascar.
One of the first activities of this collaboration is the sorting out of clothes, by members of the SDF and volunteers and staff of the RCSS at the National Society’s headquarters, Providence, from 8.30a.m, tomorrow Thursday 17th March 2022.
The NS will remain open the whole day on Saturday the 19th and 26th March from 8.30a.m to 3.30p.m for anybody wishing to contribute to the cause.
The RCSS would like it very much if the information can be shared with members of the pubic to assist in gauging maximum support for the vulnerable people in Madagascar.
A representative of the SDF will be available for interview.
