On Sunday, December 10th at 9:00 a.m., a group of volunteers and staff from RCSS attended the morning mass at the Immaculate Conception Church in Victoria. This was done to provide additional mental and spiritual support for everyone lending a hand to those who were impacted by the recent events in the Seychelles. All those involved also took the opportunity to pray further throughout the mass.
The Bishop of the Roman Catholic Church, Alain Harel expressed gratitude to the RCSS team and all of the other volunteers involved for their unceasing efforts on behalf of the impacted individuals. He went on to commend the community for its outreach and selflessness. Bishop Alain Harel sent each volunteer off with a special blessing for the task that lay ahead.
In addition to the RCSS Team, Mr. Flavien Joubert, the Minister of Agriculture, Climate Change, and the Environment, who is also a volunteer, and Mrs. Audrey Adam, the Vice President of the RCSS, were present.
