Workshop on ‘Enhancing Climate Resilience in Island States through Disaster Law’

Last day of the workshop on ‘Enhancing Climate Resilience in Island States through Disaster Law’ being held in Seychelles. Hosted by the RCSS, the workshop is appropriately taking place during the ‘Africa Climate Week (ACW) 2022’ organised this year under three (3) thematic tracks namely:
1. Striving for 1.5 Degrees (addressing global warming)
2. Attaining a resilient World
3. Enabling the future ACWGabon2022.
The photo is of a panel made up mostly of women actors from the Pacific and the Indian Ocean in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR). The panel is one of three set up during the workshop to discuss ‘Building resilience in Island States…’ efforts and actions to mitigate against disasters exacerbated by climate change.
