After a full day of dedication, teamwork, and service, the Red Cross Society of Seychelles (RCSS) has successfully concluded its standby operation at the Inter-School Athletics Championship held at Stad Linite, Roche Caiman.
Volunteers were deployed throughout the venue to provide first-aid and medical support to all. Working in teams across strategic locations, volunteers remained vigilant and ready to respond to a variety of incidents and casualties including minor injuries, muscle cramps, dehydration, and other medical concerns.
The successful completion of today’s operation is a testament to the commitment, discipline, and humanitarian spirit of RCSS volunteers, who devoted their time and energy to ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone throughout the event.
Behind every response was careful planning, coordination, and teamwork. From logistics personnel ensuring supplies were readily available to first-aiders stationed on the field and around the stadium, every volunteer played a vital role in making the operation a success.
The RCSS extends its sincere appreciation to all volunteers, team leaders, medical personnel, event organisers, and partners whose collaboration contributed to a safe and successful championship.
