The Red Cross Society of Seychelles amongst the second cohort of the SIFCO Training of trainers

Another group of forty (40) plus participants, including the Red Cross Society of Seychelles (RCSS) staff and volunteers received the skills required to promote peace and understanding in the community during the second cohort of Seychelles Interfaith Council (SIFCO) training of trainers.

This took place at the Roche Caiman District Administration office on Thursday, November 7, and Friday, November 8.

Participants engaged in talks by various facilitators as well as took part in several hands-on workshops and discussions on important peacebuilding and conflict resolution issues throughout the training. The goal of the workshop was to teach the trainers on how to lead by example in their communities, resolve problems amicably, and promote calm discussion.

The first group of trainers took part in the training last month and following both trainings, participants from various organizations such as the RCSS will receive their certificates in a small ceremony on Friday 15th November 2024.
