The Red Cross Society of Seychelles (RCSS) to sign Memorandum of Understanding with the Seychelles Defence Forces (SDF)

The Red Cross Society of Seychelles (RCSS) will be signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Seychelles Defence Forces (SDF) to establish a formal partnership and areas of collaboration for first aid trainings.

This will take place during the Opening Ceremony for the Defence Forces Day on Monday, November 25, 2024, at the Military Training Support Centre Perseverance from 09:00 am.

Given that a large number of military personnel are recruited yearly and the emphasis on first aid training is one of the top priorities for both parties, the staff of SDF will be able to gain the appropriate knowledge and skills in first aid from the RCSS. This will allow the two parties to be able to better respond to the needs of the military personnel and the community.

The RCSS will be represented by the RCSS Secretary General, Ms Marie-May Esparon whilst the SDF will be represented by the Chief of Defence Forces, Brigadier Michael Rosette.
