Early Warning for All Initiative Holds First Committee Meeting in Seychelles

The Committe for the Early Warning for All Initiative met recently in a first meeting which took place at the Seychelles Meterology Authority. Representatives and members of the committee discussed the need to prioritise the roadmap, composition of the committee and funding amongst other topics discussed.

The first meeting was attended by representatives from the SMA, DICT, SBC, Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs, AIRTEL and the Red Cross Society of Seychelles. Meeting was chaired by the SMA’s Chief Executive Officer, Vincent Amelie.
