Organisational Development and Volunteer Management

Strategic Area Five
RCSS aims to have all of the required administrative, governance and management structures in place in order to effectively deliver its programmes and implement its volunteerism policy. The headquarters and all three branches will ensure that an adequate level of professionalism is maintained by training and developing the leadership, management and programme-specific skills of volunteers. As all programmes depend on heavy volunteer involvement, current efforts to recruit, train and manage volunteers will be reinforced.

Strengthen RCSS structures and systems, especially in relation to maintaining a minimum level of training and allowing volunteers to coordinate their activities better.
