Communications & Public Relations Officers/Managers met at the Seychelles Coast Guard in a dissemination session providing updates & lessons learnt in all Ministries, Departments and Agencies in the country. The Red Cross Society of Seychelles, being an auxilliary to the government delivered a powerpoint presentation on COVID 19, Roles of the RCSS during COVID 19, proper use of masks/hand sanitisers and how can national communicators/PR assist during the crisis. Presentation was done by the RCSS Secretary General, Marie-May Bastienne. Presentation included modes of transmission of the virus and also how the RCSS can assist MDAs in transmitting their messages.
At the end of the session, the RCSS presented all representatives with educational stickers, posters on COVID 19, proper use of masks & hand sanitising.
